Landscape Orange County

TRU Landscape Services was called back to Anaheim Hills. After completion of the landscape project which involved several aspects, such as a new patio cover, New concrete in the front and back yards and several smaller projects, our customer called us back to install a new mailbox. During the original project the mail box was ready to fall over on several occasions. We mention to our customers that the mailbox had seen better days, But with some many other project taking place we believe it was a little to over whelming for them to add another project on the list. So after the completion of the major landscape project our customer called us back to build the new mailbox.

So the first thing we installed was the concrete footing that will hold up the mail box. After the concrete had some time to harden we started our block installation. By using blocks to build your mailbox we know it will last you several years. At the completion of the block installation we started the stack stone on the outside of the mail box. There are several different finishes you can install on your mail box. Stucco, Slate and Stack stone our just a few to mention. Concrete Orange county

Orange County Concrete

TRU Landscape Services was rewarded a concrete project in Aliso Viejo.  Aliso Viejo is located in Orange County, California. At first glance this project seemed a little small for our company, but after walking the project we realized this was a great project for us. The property was having drainage issues, all of the water was coming from the back slope and flooding this small backyard. The first thing we did was remove the old concrete and grade out the yard. After grading out the yard we started installing a new drain system.

When we graded the dirt we started by the house so that it was our high point. By doing this we can make all of the water run away from the house. The new drain system runs away from the house out to the street. This property had lots of fall which is great for moving water away from the house. We use a SDR Drain pipe. This pipe has a glue joint system, which helps keep the tree roots from growing into the pipe. These pipes are used for sewer systems in other states. We have had great success using theses pipes for our outdoor drain systems.

Concrete Design

Our customer brought us a picture during the original estimate that showed some concrete steps over hanging other concrete steps. Some people would call these steps cantilevered. We call them over hanging steps. This was a nice design for the front yard, which became the focal point of the whole landscape project.

After starting the project the customer showed us a table inside of there house which had different tables over hanging other tables. They told us they wanted the stairs designed like the table. This was a fun challenge. TRU Landscape Services loves a fun challenge, we proceed to setup all of the concrete forms in the backyard all the way to the front yard. We installed a concrete curb in the backyard which will help slow some of the water coming from the slope and divert it to the drains. Then in the front yard we set up the steps to over hang each other (cantilevered). After setting our forms, we set up the rebar. Rebar will help strengthen the new concrete. TRU Landscape Services takes every precaution to help your concrete last for several years. Our customers were extremely happy with the way the concrete turned out. This couple were great people to work for!! We can’t wait for them to call us back to install all of the plants.
