Synthetic Turf Around Pools

TRU Landscape Services installed a project in Newport Beach. Newport Beach is located in Orange County, California. This project was a remodel of the entire yard, but for now we are going to talk about the synthetic turf we installed. We have installed Synthetic Turf around many pool areas in Orange County. Malibu Lighting Orange County

TRU Landscape Services was asked to work on some Malibu lights. We try are hardest not to get involved with these lights. But we do want to provide our customers with the highest customer satisfaction as possible. We had a customer in Yorba Linda ask us to repair his Malibu lights in his front yard. Yorba Linda is in Orange County, California. Yorba Linda is surrounded by the cities of Anaheim Hills and Brea. As we were talking to the customer and explaining why these lights are not worth repairing. I shook one of the lights that was not working, that’s all it took for the light to turn back on for a brief time. Malibu lights are made in China. Do we need to say anything more. The landscape lighting we use is made in the USA. Our manufacture is in Southern California and has been for over 25 years. We have a standard 8 year warranty on our lights. Most of our transformers have a life time warranty. Malibu lights have a very poor connection. These connections go bad very fast. Their connections are not weather proof, which allows moisture to get into the connection causing the lights to turn off. Our outdoor lights use a weather tight connection. These connections keep all of the moisture out the lights. We have found this method to be the best connection in the landscape lighting business. Malibu lights will save you money for a brief time, after that short time you’ll be spending your weekends repairing them. Malibu is only a company that makes outdoor lights. Many people mistakenly refer to Landscape Lighting or Low Voltage lighting as Malibu lights. This gives the whole landscape lighting industry a black eye! Orange County Landscape Lighting

TRU Landscape went out on a estimate today for landscape lighting. This estimate was in the city of Irvine. Irvine is located in Orange County, California. The customer wanted to get a estimate on the new LED lights. Like most people they had allot of questions about our company and the lights that we are selling. We explained that the lighting company that supplies our lights has been working with us for over 15 years. In Orange County there is hundreds of landscape lighting companies, so why use one company? It’s a simple answer, They have great service!

One of the questions our customer had was, How efficient are LED lights? The simple answer is that the typical LED fixture will produce the equivalent light output using about 80% less energy. A great comparison is a 20-watt MR-16 lamp which is the most common bulb used in landscape lighting in Orange County. Compared to 3-emitter LED with high-performance optics, using about 4.5 watts, These two provide light output that is virtually equivalent in lumen output, color temperature and beam control. By installing LED lights we can use a smaller transformer. Which saves money. We can install more lights on one run, which saves money on wire.

Another question our customer had was, How much energy would a typical Orange County residential customer save in one year with an all LED installation versus an equivalent one with halogen lamps? Considering an installation using 900 watts of halogen lamps, operated nightly for 10 hours, the annual energy cost at the local rate of $0.145 per kwh is approximately $476.00 The same system with the equivalent number of LED fixtures with equivalent lumen output would cost $95.00 annually to operate. Another factor to consider is that your typical halogen system would require re-lamping after one year. Your LED system has a average life of 50,000 hours or 17 years of use in the typical application.

TRU Landscape was called out to Huntington Beach for a estimate for a Waterless Grass dog run. The City of Huntington Beach is located in Orange County, California.
