Synthetic Turf Orange County

TRU Landscape Services was called out to the thriving city of Yorba Linda for a free synthetic turf estimate. The customer was requesting to have the front lawn resurfaced with new synthetic turf and drip lines installed all throughout the planter beds. We proceeded to rip out the existing sod and hauled away all debris in preparations of laying the foundations for the synthetic turf to be installed. Once the sod was disposed of, we dug about 3″ inches of dirt out and prepped for road base to be applied. The road base is then applied and compacted down creating a smooth, level surface for our turf to be applied upon. Once compaction is achieved, we spread a light layer of “DG” (decomposed gravel) over the road base to create a firm, well-draining surface. The base is now level and compacted properly so we can apply a landscape type fabric that while prevent future weeds from penetrating the turf.

Establishing a strong yet level foundation is essential when applying the final product. We now are able to roll out the synthetic turf and begin securing it properly. The process went smoothly as the turf was cut and laid into place with a seamless finish. All that was left to do was apply a small amount of sand and rubber to give the turf a stable feel that will prevent it from moving in the long run. Final product came out great and more importantly, the customer was completely satisfied. Customer now gets to enjoy a relatively low maintenance front yard. Synthetic Turf Orange County

TRU Landscape Services just finished installing a dog run in Mission Viejo. Our customer called us out for a estimate and approved the estimate on the spot. The project was to install a Synthetic Turf dog run. Along with the Synthetic Turf we installed a wrought iron fence to keep the dogs in.

First we removed the upper layers of grass & dirt. Because this area was going to be a high traffic area, we installed a strong edge. This edge will hold down the Synthetic turf so that the dogs can’t tear it up. This is an essential step when installing an artificial turf dog run.

Once that was finished, we installed a layer of Decomposed Granite (DG). Getting the proper compaction is a very important part of this step. Once we made compaction, we laid down a landscape fabric to keep the weeds from growing back in the side yard. With those steps completed, we installed the Synthetic Turf. The Synthetic Turf can last 15 to 20 years! We also include an 8 year manufacture warranty. Our customer was very happy with the final product.

Wrought Iron Fence

During our estimate the customer asked for a chain link fence to surround the Orange County dog run. We do install chain link fences but in this application we thought wrought iron fence would look far better. This fence was important to keep the dogs out of the backyard, so we made it 5 feet high. With all of our wrought iron fences we give the customer a choice on the design and color. Our customer chose a basic square design along with a black fence. Synthetic Turf Around Pools

TRU Landscape Services installed a project in Newport Beach. Newport Beach is located in Orange County, California. Newport Beach is surrounded by the cities of Costa Mesa, Laguna Beach and Huntington Beach. This project was a remodel of the entire yard, but for now we are going to talk about the synthetic turf we installed. We have installed Synthetic Turf around many pool areas in Orange County. The customer will no longer have grass clippings in their the pool because their gardeners will not have grass to trim. Also, there is no need for the gardener to blow around the pool.
