Hi! I've been an Orange County Landscaper since I was a kid when I got to use my first lawnmower. TRU Landscape has grown a lot since then, and now we do so much more than residential and commercial maintenance. Orange County ADU is one of several outdoor construction elements that we offer. ADUs are known by many different names: Granny Flats, Secondary Units, Backyard Cottages, In-Law Units are just a few of the names. No matter what you like to call an ADU we design and build them. Our professional designers will lay out a professional design while utilizing the existing land. Once the design is complete and permits are issued our professional construction crew will start building the dwelling. ADU’s can be used for the family to live in or can be source of income. ADU’s can be close to the same size as an apartment or townhome.

Start with a firm foundation!! We will have a soils report done before any construction begins. The soils report will help the engineers to design the size and materials requirements to build a firm foundation. Once we lay out the foundation the plumbing will be roughed in. Once the city inspector signs off on the building plan, then we can install the concrete. Concrete requirement’s will usually call for a deputy inspector to be present when we are pouring the concrete. These inspectors assure that the concrete company is providing the concrete that is called for. After the foundation dries we can begin the framing process and roofing.

Once the framing is finished then the interior elements will begin. Electrical and lighting will be roughed in and then after more city inspections, drywall will be installed. Once the drywall is installed then the texture will be applied. Bathrooms will be built and the kitchen will be built. The finishing touches will be finished. Our design team knows all of the details that the city likes to see. This helps speed the process up. The latest project was a new swimming pool that we designed and built. This pool has an attached SPA and a Sun Shelve.

Outdoor Living

TRU Landscape Services was called out to remodel this Orange County Outdoor Living space. The customer had no need for a swimming pool, so we filled in the pool. They want basic low maintenance for the entire yard.

Orange County Patio Builder

Our designer’s came up with an California room and a new balcony.

Once the design was set our crews started building the retaining wall around the outside of the yard. The wall would later have glass panels installed on top of it. This would allow for a great view of the natural landscape.

Modern Low maintenance is what the customer wanted. Our design staff was excited to create this Orange County Outdoor Living space. We created two separate spaces to hang out with friends and enjoy the Fire elements. The California room had a fire place to sit around and enjoy the indoor – outdoor living. The second area was the Fire pit area.

There are several types of pavers but the majority of the pavers we install are Concrete interlocking Pavers and Porcelain Pavers. Interlocking pavers come in several different styles and colors.
